Matthew grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and lives in Los Angeles. His short films have screened at Sundance (2020, 2019) and SXSW (2020, 2019, 2017), qualified for the 2020 Academy Awards, and have been acquired by The Criterion Channel, Oscilloscope, Topic, and Searchlight Pictures.
